Charissa Shuttlesworth is a children's book author/illustrator and mother of three. She is a lifelong creative whose earlier career in social work gave her valuable experience working with children from all different cultures and walks of life. Charissa's passion for children's literature stems from her deeply held respect for young people and the belief that children can more easily understand the things adults tend to overcomplicate.
